Mark Philippoussis playing in Dallas challenger
Speaking of Australians... the latest comeback is alive.
He'll take on American Michael Yani in the first round.
Teen anger after late night Australian Open loss
This guys complaint seems fair enough. No one should be playing that late at all, regardless of age.
I'm a bit confused by the times but it seems like he finished after midnight local time.

Tennis champ Djokovic to play Yugoslav king on TV

US Open Midway Report
Cool report on the US Open thus far.
Now this is a LUCKY loser
In the final round of qualifying in Cincy, Julien Benneteau lost to Lukasz Kubot. Kubot earned a first-round matchup against Jose Acususo, which he lost. Even if Kubot had won, he would've drawn Federer in the second round.
But...Benneteau, the only LL in the draw, replaces Del Potro. That is, he gets a bye into the second round, just like DP would've. He'll face Jurgen Melzer for a spot in the third round.
That's lucky.
