Speaking of Australians... the latest comeback is alive.

He'll take on American Michael Yani in the first round.

This guys complaint seems fair enough. No one should be playing that late at all, regardless of age.

I'm a bit confused by the times but it seems like he finished after midnight local time.

Not only did Jelena Dokic & Aleksandra Wozniak wear matching dresses in the opening round of the Brisbane International, they only appear to be sporting matching muffin tops (or fat rolls for you older folks out there).

Whose natural gut do you love more?

Talk about outside interests...

Perhaps they can lay off the Williams Sisters for a change. It'll be interesting if this will have any effect on Novak's 2010.

Terrible, horrendous throw. But Oudinmania is still in full force, so who cares if she bounces the ball several feet in front of the plate?

Cool report on the US Open thus far.

In the final round of qualifying in Cincy, Julien Benneteau lost to Lukasz Kubot. Kubot earned a first-round matchup against Jose Acususo, which he lost. Even if Kubot had won, he would've drawn Federer in the second round.

But...Benneteau, the only LL in the draw, replaces Del Potro. That is, he gets a bye into the second round, just like DP would've. He'll face Jurgen Melzer for a spot in the third round.

That's lucky.
