Marcos Baghdatis Pulls off Another Surprise Title in Sydney

In a battle of streaky ATPers, Marcos Baghdatis defeated fellow unseeded floater Richard Gasquet 6-4, 7-6 (2) to win the title in Sydney.

Marcos Baghdatis is one of the least predictable players in tennis history.  Probably the most shocking slam finalist of the previous decade, Baghdatis would be a shock again if he can ride this momentum into another deep run in Melbounre

If there is a pattern to his patternlessness, it's that when he starts off a tournament well, he tends to finish it well.  If Baghdatis wins one match, he's a good bet to win five.
