Djoko played well enough but drops 1st set

He’s hitting well, but some of his shot selection has been mystifying.

Ryan Miller was the true MVP.
I really hate Jerry.

omg what a backhand winner by Nadal

How did he just break Djokovic. I was sure this second set was over but now Nadal could come back and win the set. If he does then this match is over in three. If Djokovic can win then this thing is going five.

Exciting match so far...

Djokovic clearly has benefited from the extra day, both are playing well right now.

If only planning what channel the match will be on was a little easier, I could rest assured by dvr will record it all so I can enjoy it more tommorow.

Entertaining match

would have liked to see more fight from Djokovic in that fourth set but there was plenty of back and forth rallies with amazing shots from both players. It’s awesome to see Nadal finally win the slam he’s been preparing for all year by taking timely breaks and not overloading his schedule. Also very classy of Djokovic to walk over to Nadal’s side and give him a hug. Hope to see those two play doubles together more in the future. Bring on Australia!
