Maria Sharapova is falling off the edge

PrintWow went to the Newport Beach Breakers match last night against the Kansas City Explorers and Maria look really off her game. She got Tooled by Jarmila Groth 5-0 in singles, her serve is terrible double faulting all over the place and on the last 3-3 point she served. Groths serve was way to much for Sharapova who got aced repeatedly in the short match, at one point she lost 8 points in a row. Her toss is still 6-8 inches to high and she has no rhythm to her serve and game, at this point I don't see her getting out of 2nd round of US Open. Hopefully she will turn the who thing around but who knows at this point in her game or life, after all Sasha was waiting for her courtside.

Sharapova looked great at Wimbledon, so I don’t think I would read quite so much into this one night. WTT can be a tough format to adjust to, especially against an extremely talented player like Groth who has far less rust and more WTT momentum.

Tonight going to match Johnny Mac in town should be entertaining, we will see how Maria does probably will go through opponent 5-0. Hasn’t MS played in WTT for a couple of seasons, and yes I know it is way different arena.
So Fight On USC followers and Don’t worry WE Will Still Play on Saturdays and Bowls will come later, for WE ARE SC not That other Softball University. Oh and don’t say you now have a baseball team, it’s not Real Baseball unless you use Wooden Bats
