Around SBN: New York Giants Super Bowl XLVI Ring Unveiled

Round of 16 at Roland Garros.

Stanislas Wawrina vs Roger Federer- The battle of the Swiss. Federer owns a 4-1 career advantage over Stan, but they have split their 2 meeting on clay. Fed won easily in straght sets in Madrid and looks to be playing very well. I'm gonna pick Fed, but he might have a little more trouble than expected.

Jo- Wilfried Tsonga vs Mikhail  Youzhny- Jo-Willie has a 2-1 career advantage, all on hard. Mikhail has been playing well this week and Tsonga has struggled to advance. Tsonga will use the crowd to his advantage and his serve. I likeTsonga. Last match of the day on Chatrier. I doubt it will be finished by tommorrow. It will go 5.

Soderling vs Cilic- The two have never played. The defending runner up, Soderling seems to be playing very well this week. He discarded Albert Montanes in straight sets in the last round. Cilic isn't great on clay, and has sruggled, but has gotten key points. Their stats on the year are nearly identical. I don't know why, but I like Cilic.

Andy Murray vs Thomas Berdych- Murray defeated Gasquet in 5, and then discarded Chela and Baghdatis in 4. Berdych has been on a roll this week. He has quietly placed himself as one of the contenders after the big 2. I like Berdych a lot in this match.

So, Fed, Tsonga, Cilic, and Berdych will advance.

Should be a great day of tennis. Too bad those of us without the tennis channel will not see much. Why ESPN won't show live tennis is beyond me. They show it live for the other grand slams.
