Star-divide

Australian Sam Stosur showed she should be considered a contender for this year's French Open as she blitzed Russian Vera Zvonareva Sunday at The Family Circle Cup in Charleston.

Stosur got off to a fast start and closed out Zvonareva 6-0, 6-3 with a powerful forehand and great movement on the South Carolina clay.  It was Stosur's second title on the WTA Tour as she won in Osaka in 2009.

Zvonareva was disappointed and frustrated with her own play, but what can you do when your opponent hits 36 winners and only maked 11 unforced errors.

This tournament was a confidence builder for Stosur heading into Roalnd Garros where she reached the semi-finals last year and will have those points to defend.
