One Word: Bizarre

I'm sure many of you saw this, but Agassi and Sampras got angry the other night. Here's the link:

Frankly, I'm with Pete on this one. He mocked Agassi's walk and Andre responded by getting personal. I don't think AA meant to really get into it, he just got his feelings hurt and reacted. Agassi apologized today, but this link ain't going away.

I commented in the other thread already but I don’t think Agassi got his feelings hurt. Andy Roddick use to imitate his walk and even Joker does it now. I just think thats pretty much free game.

I mean mimicking someones walk Agassi just printed a book of shameful things hes done in like a 20 year span. (to him I didn’t think they were that bad)
I really think his joke was just bad really doubt he thought it would anger Sampras. It was a mistake they both played it pretty well considering. Because things could of been worse to me.

oh yea, things could’ve been worse for sure, and Agassi’s walk is open for imitation.

I just think Agassi was a little embarassed and he couldn’t think of anything funny to say, so he went for the tipping thing. It was just an awkward situation.

I can see if he was depending on how the crowd reacted to his own joke. I just see Agassi though as a guy whos much more comfortable in these kinds of settings.

Its actually why I wasn’t surprised how Agassi mentioned in his book he resented the sport at times. The way they grow up seems a bit closed off while hes a pretty outgoing person.

At the same time he doesn’t have that knack that Roddick has with funny remarks and the like. Like how Roddick joked about Serenas situation not a lot of guys can get away with that. Or to make a joke about Fed after losing to him without sounding like a jerk. Andres a bit limited at least to me when it comes to jokes or whatever considering his personality.

Pete sure had alot of ammunition to use. The wig or how he resented (Agassi)the sport that....

brought him fame and fortune.
