Have any of you guys been to any of the majors? My girlfriend and I went to the US Open in 2006. I live in Texas. That was a fun trip. I want to eventually attend all the majors.

Been to the U.S. Open and Wimbledon. The Grand Slams are great for tennis lovers. Wimbledon is amazing and the fans are great people. I’ve been to just about every other pro event in The States and the smaller events are great for getting close to the action. I’d start with the zoo that is The U.S. Open, and everything after that will be much more relaxed.

I enjoy the clay court championships in Houston. It’s great for being able to be really close to the action.

Been to Houston when Sampras, Agassi, and a young Roddick were there. Was great when it was held at that club, and it’s always fun to watch on clay.

I’ve heard that’s a great event—shame it’s been getting short shrift in recent years in terms of players.

The last time I went Roddick ended up winning. I got to see Jan-Michael Gambil playing pretty well before he totally disappeared. Oh and Todd Martin was still playing at that time, as well as Michael Chang. I wanted to get his autograph, but he lost and was really not happy about it. That was when he had switched to a giant racket to try to get more power and it just wasn’t working for him at all.

I’ve been to the US Open and Wimbledon. Wimbledon should definitely be on every person’s bucket list. It’s like a cathedral of the sport, and a Mecca-like pilgrimage is certainly in order once in each person’s life time.

Agreed, everything about Wimbledon was fun from waiting in the queue to the over priced strawberries and cream. You don’t realize how perfect the grass is until you see it upclose. Especially on Day 1 or Day 2.

Can’t believe Stefan Koubek is still kicking.

Me either. He played a classic two years ago with Djoker at the USO, right?

Koubek has had an unbelievably long career with such a one dimensional game.

Stosur and Azarenka through easily.

They’ve really been frontloading these schedules with boring stuff.

Largely because Suarez Navarro has been atrocious so far.

And Davydenko's up an early break.

Nothing strange or very exciting so far today.

We may have to wait quite a while. These top half matches on both sides have been dull.

The matches today looked like mostly duds to me as well. Hewitt / Baghdatis is what they are all waiting for

First time I've entered with TDF.

You’re welcome.

Seriously though, I still don’t have a read on this tournament.

I think del Potro is going down soon, but that’s all I’ve got.
