The full order of play for all courts can be found here, and live running scores can be found here.
The US Open is the big event of the day in sports (besides possible Sam Bradford MRI results), so no reason not to spend all of Sunday curled up in front of the comments section of this thread, sharing any running thoughts, comments, or whatever else you feel compelled to type.

Important matches today
With all the upsets, there are gaps in the draws, making matches on Sunday and Monday even bigger.

Clijsters is blitzing Venus like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Quickly races out to 5-0.

And how, up 3-0. Could we be trading bagels?

6-0, 0-4?
The hell is going on here?

6-0, 0-6
Ya know, if they had just won these twelve games in a different order, we’d only be in a first set tiebreak.

1-1 in the third! Both players decide to win a game in the same set! What a concept!

I remember from my junior tennis day lots of girl’s matches being 6-0 0-6 and the third set going to a tie break.

Certainly not out of the question for this one.

Not quite a tiebreak, but a 6-4 win for Clijsters in a much more competitive third.

Tentative schedule for play tomorrow coming out and Isner is not on Ashe Stadium, kind of wierd.
Rick Limpert
Indeed, but Isner has a great record in Armstrong so perhaps they thought it would be to his advantage. Given the favoring of Americans in this tournament, I am betting they cleared it with Isner before making the schedule.

It’s pretty incredible to think that the loser of Clijsters-Venus will be out of the tournament before Wickmayer, Dulko, K. Bondarenko, or Kvitova.

Crazy Danny Koellerer certainly living up to his name on Armstrong vs. del Potro.

Point of the tournament from Koellerer there.

You are obviously not a Saskatchewan Roughriders fan. :)
Just picking up on the action now. Clijsters beat Venus, huh? I’m not too surprised. Venus has been struggling while Clijsters has been improving at each tournament. Funny with the splitting bagels result, though.
Hockey blogging can't get any flatter.
It was a weird match, to be sure, but Clijsters’ best was better than Venus’ best.

Hell of a match from her. I was surprised Zvonareva played that well, not surprised that she went down in flames in the third.
