I’m going to miss Marat.
As per Safina, I hope she doesn’t wear herself out playing all the events she does (whether they’re of a high quality field or not). I truly believe the huge turnover we’ve seen in recent years at the top is because the rankings encourage the athletes to push themselves too far.

Safina, for her part, was awful yesterday. Roberta Vinci served for the match against her in the second set in Cincinnati.
