Robby Ginepri wins Indianapolis Tennis Championships

He beats Sam Querrey 6-2 6-4. It is a big win for Robby as he had battled illness which had made him lose 30 pounds. It was his 3rd career singles title and 2nd at Indy. He looked very emotional at the end

Sam Querrey looked very bad on his serve as he had trouble with the sun. Good for Robby, a missed opportunity for Querrey. An American wins; next up Los Angeles.

Once again, good for Robby

Definitely good for Ginepri, who while maybe undeserving of that career high of #15 is someone who should be inside the top fifty as long as he keeps up this form.

Ginepri v. Safin today in L.A.

Good to see Ginepri playing to his potential. He looked very poised in both the semis and the finals – and he really used the experience to his advantage against Querrey.

I wonder if he can become a factor this summer?
