A Luxembourg First Round Match to Watch

It's not the U.S. Open quarterfinals, it's a first round match in a $220,000 tournament in Luxembourg, but it's still Wozniacki vs. Oudin again. Both players didn't do much on their Asian swing. I even thought Wozniacki might pull out of this event since she has been traveling nonstop. It appears she will play and this match will be a night match on Tues. night. Maybe it will be a close 3-setter.

Based on recent form, there isn’t much reason to think Oudin will have a chance here. I was actually just working on a piece on Wozniacki’s insane scheduling, so I’m glad to see you picked up on that too.

Oudin Withdraws
There was a player to withdraw in this match, but it was Oudin that pulled out not Wozniacki. Oudin with a stomach ailment.

Injury bug keeps hitting tennis. Wozniacki had to retire in the 2nd set with an injury. Anne Kremer advances…geeez
